I have so much to say about this wedding that I’m afraid I’m going to forget everything! Zach and Abby were married on December 21st and it felt so much like Christmas at their wedding. Abby’s Pronovias Barcelona dress was so very classic and it fit her to a tee. She opted to go without a veil and instead wore the prettiest wreath of roses in her hair. That along with her fur (faux) stole completed her look. She was stunning!
There was just a little bit of snow on the ground. It was enough to make it pretty but it wasn’t enough to create slick roads and sidewalks. Zach and Abby had huge wedding party and I loved them! They were fun all day long and were so cooperative! Do you know how much I appreciate fun and cooperative? I really do!
They had a full mass for their ceremony and the thing that touched me the most during the ceremony wasn’t the vows or the music, but it was that Zach and Abby served communion to their guests. To me that represented such an act of love from them to their guests. It touched me! That was the first time I’ve ever seen the wedding couple present communion.
Their reception was a the Jay County Events Center. I work at that venue a lot and love it. The head table was so striking and elegant. As we waited for the party bus to arrive I continued to take pictures of the decor. It was all so very pretty!
Once the bus arrived the wedding party was fired up and ready for a good time! The whole evening was just a ball! This was my 3rd wedding of the Fullenkamp clan. In 2017 and 2018 I photographed both of Zach’s sister’s weddings. Now that they’re all married I’m a little sad. Sometimes siblings do not want the same vendors for their weddings. But I’m telling you, the fact that I was able to work at all three of their weddings made my heart full. I hardly wanted to leave at the end of the night! Once of my favorite traditions of the Fullenkamp weddings is the ‘Ring of Fire’. The wedding couple stands in the middle of a circle surrounded by their friends and family. They all hold up candles and sing and dance to ‘Ring of Fire’ by Johnny Cash. It’s just the funnest tradition and I’m so glad I could be part of it x3!
