A month ago today this beautiful wedding took place. It was special for so many reasons. Evan and Macie planned this day as a perfect reflection of their love for one another and their love for God. The music, the vows and even the first dances were all so inspiring and beautiful. The morning was full of first looks with Macie having a first look with her bridesmaids, followed by her dad and brother and then with her groom. There were hugs, tears and lots of smiles.
Macie walked down the aisle to Goodness of God. What a beautiful moment to recognize that it is because of God’s goodness that Evan and Macie met. It just so happened that this was the song chosen for the Mother/Son dance at the reception. There were lots of tears at that time and guests even clapped when the dance was over. It was just beautiful.
But, the sweetest moment during the reception stole the evening! Macie gave a heartfelt speech about her mom and presented her with her bridal bouquet. Macie’s mom is also one of my friends so it was just beautiful to see this mother/daughter moment!
Thank you, Macie and Evan. Your day was precious beyond words. I am grateful that you have found one another. And, I am gratetul that the Amigos are all married now! 😉
