Joseph and Kim – Portland, IN Wedding

Anyone who has ever visited this blog knows that weddings have my heart. I have loved photographing weddings since my very first one 21 years ago. When I met with Joseph and Kim, I could sense their wedding would be stunning. And it was! The vendor team was a dream-team. You can tell when vendors put their heart and soul into their work. Even though I don’t know them personally it was obvious in their results that their desire was to make Joseph and Kim’s wedding fit their vision.

This wedding was really special as Kim’s family is from South Korea. It took some planning to get her family to the States. Kim’s parents, Hyunok and Dogyun brought traditional wedding attire for Kim and Joseph as well as Joseph’s parents, Dr. Frank and Marcie Vorhmor. After the wedding the couples changed clothes for a few photos in the traditional Korean wedding attire. It was so special to see.

The wedding party was so terrific. It was frigid outside. Late January in Indiana sometimes gives us temperatures in the single digits. The entire wedding party powered through and were the absolute best. It brought me so much joy to watch the wedding party show their love and friendship to the couple.

Many thanks to Dr. Joseph and Dr. Kim Vormohr for entrusting me to such a special day. It was truly the best day!

Here are my favorite photos of your wedding day.

Much love,

Amy
