Ashley and Jordan were married in August and what a truly thoughtful and loving day it was. This couple has been so patient waiting for their gallery as I had to take some time off unexpectedly to be with a friend in her grief. I never like making people wait… but boy I do hope this was worth the wait!
Upon meeting Jordan and Ashley this summer, one thing was obvious. They love deeply. It’s written on their faces. Their love was evident in every piece of the wedding. You could feel the love of God all day long. ‘Special’ sounds so cliche but everything about the wedding was indeed special. The thought and care that was put into every detail blew me away. One thing that really stood out to me was how they incorporated their late fathers into their ceremony. Ashley carried the wedding rings of both she and Jordan’s dads on her bouquet. Both men had their own special seating at the ceremony. They were very much part of the wedding and their presence was felt in such a sweet way.
Ashley and Jordan grew up just a few miles from one another and have always known one another.. They have both had very successful careers and have traveled the world. But somehow the countryside in Ohio was the place they would find their forever love. That same countryside is where they were married.
From their First Look on the hilltop to the sunset photo shoot at the end of the night, it was such a celebration to be part of. I think everyone there truly felt like an honored guest, I know I did.
