Decatur IN Wedding – Chance and Natalie

Decatur IN Wedding – Chance and Natalie

All who know Natalie and Chance were overjoyed the day that they got married.  I am going to pull my thoughts together here because there is a lot I want to say but I don’t want to ramble.

Natalie’s family is like family to me. I’ve known Nat since she was a pre-schooler and have had the joy of taking her photos (along with her sisters, parents, cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles) since I began my career out of my home in 2001.  We have a long history of photos and friendship.

Since they had an October wedding they were dreaming of Fall photos with colorful leaves and the coziness that Fall can feel like.  But…………….. oh my word.  Never in my life have I ever experienced wind like they day of their wedding. We had upwards of 55mph winds on their wedding day.  We TRIED to do some outside pictures for a hot minute, but it just wasn’t possible at all.  Natalie truly wanted pictures by the lake and even though we stopped to give it a try it was just insanely windy and hard to hold my camera still!  It really made for fun memories as everyone was laughing and having a fun time.  Once we made it to Romer’s Catering we were in for the night and could warm up!

Natalie and Chance, the foundation that you have built your relationship on is strong. Your faith in Jesus is an example to all.  The vows that you wrote and so beautifully spoke were ones that I’ll never forget hearing.  You have your feet on the Rock and I am so proud of you guys.  Thank you for the beautiful honor of being your wedding photographer.   I adore you both.

Enjoy these highlights of a very windy and full of love day!

Much love,

Amy
