Wedding posts are my favorite! And this wedding was a stunner. I first met Brian and Whitney 2 years ago when Whitney was the Maid of Honor at Taylen and Adriana’s wedding. When she reached out to me last year about shooting her wedding I was so happy. Whitney and Brian are a class act and their wedding reflected that so much.
The wedding ceremony was held at Saint Mary of the Assumption Church in Decatur, IN. Followed by the Reception at The Mirage Banquet Hall in Decatur.
Whitney’s color palette sang my song! Green with Rose Gold Accents and Black Tuxes. It doesn’t get any more formal than that. It was so elegant and a perfect reflection of Brian and Whitney’s style. The Ombre Cake and the Palm leaf decor at the reception were so refreshing! I loved this whole decor theme.
They had such a fun and cooperative wedding party, which is always such a plus! It was a hot, sunny June day and they powered thru. The whole experience lifted my heart. And I have to tell you, a week later I got the sweetest note in the mail from Whitney and it made me tear up. It was so precious and affirmed to me why I feel so lucky to do what I do. It’s been almost 19 years since I shot my first wedding and I wouldn’t trade this career for anything!
