It was two days ago that Zach, Abby and I met up for their engagement session. They are getting married in December of this year and wanted a Winter engagement session as well. A big shout out to Winter brides – I was one also and have a sweet affection for Winter Weddings!
I’ve known Zach’s family for a few years now and was with both he and Abby at Zach’s sister’s weddings in 2017 and 2018. When I got a phone call from Zach a few weeks ago I had a feeling that I knew what it was about. I was right, he had proposed to Abby and they were ready to get married.
It was soon that we were having their official bridal consultation and now the ball is rolling with wedding planning.
On Tuesday morning of this week it looked like it was going to be a ‘warmer’ day for us here in Indiana. I confirmed the session with Zach and Abby and we went for it. But about 15 minutes into the shoot we all felt the temperature take a dip and the wind came. We were absolutely freezing cold, but just kept powering through. It was worth it, even though I know that Zach and Abby were so very cold! I have to say that Abby looked beautiful and her Burberry printed cape was gorgeous and picture perfect.
Thank you for entrusting me to your photos Zach and Abby! I am so grateful to have you as one of my 2019 wedding couples. I had fun with you during this session and look forward to December 21st!
