Zach and Madi – Portland Events Center Wedding

Zach and Madi – Portland Events Center Wedding

It’s Friday and the best day for a wedding post. Actually there is never a bad day for a wedding post. They’re always and forever my favorite blog post.

Zach and Madi were married at the Portland Events Center in Portland, IN on September 5th. I have photographed many wedding receptions at this venue but this was the first time photographing a wedding and reception there. It worked seamlessly and was so easy!

The couple began their day with a first look. It was a sweet one for sure. Then we kicked off their photos from there. The wedding party came just a while later and they sailed right through their photos.

One of my very favorite parts of Madi’s look (besides her gorgeous dress) was her SHOES! I love shoes and loved the lace and laces on Madi’s. The bridesmaids looked lovely in their burgundy dresses. And the bouquets were the perfect Fall wedding blend with greens and sunflowers.

There was a Fall feel to the entire day and I know it was all that this sweet couple dreamed of. The funny thing is, they had scheduled Fall engagement photos last year and the day of their shoot it SNOWED. It was the coldest Fall engagement session ever! But man it was pretty.

It was great seeing old friends at the wedding as well. I’ve known Madi’s family forever and loved catching up with them.

Thank you Madi and Zach. I appreciate you both so much and love seeing you so happy! ENJOY these sneak peeks. And most importantly enjoy your marriage. It is truly a blessing.

Love,

Amy
