This wedding was wonderful! I am just so very happy that I was available on the date. Due to another couple changing their wedding date, I was open for Abbie and Eric’s wedding. I’ve known Abbie’s family for a long time. We have had a few family photo sessions over the years, but this one was by far my favorite. Both families and the entire wedding party made the day so enjoyable. I loved working with each of them.
Abbie’s dress was perfectly detailed with lace and buttons. It was the perfect June wedding dress. Eric’s white tux jacket was striking. With black and white details throughout the day, it all blended with a modern and fresh flair.
Before I get into other wedding details I have to share something that was such a fun highlight and detail of the wedding reception. Abbie is an elementary school teacher. Before school was out she had the students draw a picture of what they thought her dress might look like. She then stapled them together and the booklet was on the gift table. I was cracking up at some of the art work. But the thing that was most entertaining was the letters that her students wrote to Eric. They were pure entertainment. Most were a little upset about the wedding being child-free. I have included some photos of both of these items.
