This wedding was like photographing for family! Truly, it was. I’ve had Izzy’s family in front of my camera for so many years and on many different occasions. Seeing her a bride and celebrating the whole day was incredibly special.
Connor and Izzy met in college and their love story unfolded so easily. The first time I met Connor was during engagement photos last Fall and I knew beyond the shadow of a doubt that he was doing to treat Izzy the way she deserves.
Fast forward to wedding day. The venue was beautiful! It was light and bright and was decorated so perfectly. The flowers added the most beautiful array of color for a July wedding. The excitement in the bride room was real. The ladies were having fun getting ready for the day. The groommen spent their morning on the golf course before arriving at Willow’s Edge.
Twenty minutes before their outdoor ceremony it began to rain. It wasn’t just nice little sprinkles, it was a downpour. And thirty minutes later, the sun was out, the seats were dried (thanks to the venue and some ushers and other helpers) and Isabel and Connor were in their ceremony. I have photographed many outdoor weddings over the years. It always works out! Always.
Their reception was so much fun! Guests loved the food and the sweet dances shared. At the end of daylight, we headed outside for Golden Hour photos by the Willow Tree and oh-my-goodness what a beautiful segment of photos!
Thank you, Izzy and Connor and your wonderful families for allowing me to share the most special day with you.
Much much love as you begin your married life together.
Amy
