This wedding was so special and was years in the making. I have known Kris since our college days and have always shared a special friendship with her. Kris is one of those people who you can go months without talking with, but when you catch up it’s as if no time has passed. That is the sign of true friendship!
Last year I got a message from Kris saying that she and Jeff were planning their wedding. I was so happy their date was open on my books. While they were high school sweethearts, life took them on different roads and then detoured back to each other. Their wedding date was special to them as it was the anniversary of their first date.
Each detail of this wedding was planned with such care. Nothing passes through Kris’s hands without being well thought out and it shows. From finding the perfect dress in Chicago to blinging out her reception tennis shoes herself; Kris has always had such impeccable style and I love it.
Jeff and Kris had the best celebration! I loved watching their family and friends love on them the entire day. There was a lot of love in the room, and it oozed from the couple, their parents, kids and the entire guest list.
Thank you, Jeff and Kris! I loved celebrating you. Thanks for enduring the heat and smiling through it.
