Nathan and Lexi were one of the many 2020 couples who had to make alternate plans for their wedding day. But I’m here to tell you that the day the wedding happens is the day that it’s meant to happen. For them, July 31st was the perfect day for their family and friends to gather at Sylvan Cellars for their celebration.
They were married at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kendallville. I have shot many weddings there over the years and I just love it. The church is old and so charming. The wooden pews, pillars and stained glass make it a perfect wedding church.
After the ceremony we headed to Gene Stratton Porter State Historic Site in Rome City. It was so lush with greenery and flowers. It was gorgeous.
The reception followed in Rome City, IN. This was my first time at Sylvan Cellars and it was truly a photographers dream of a place to shoot. Lexi and Nathan entertained their friends with dinner and dancing. But I would say that the Father/Daughter dance was the hit of the night. Lexi and her dad Rick cut the rug and it was so much to watch!
Needless to say it was a perfect wedding day.
Nathan and Lexi, Thank you for entrusting me to your day. I hope you love this sneak peek.
Love,
Amy
