When a senior mom reaches out a year ahead of time to ask if I would be willing to go to South Haven for senior photos, you know it’s going to be a good session! South Haven, MI is very special to Julia’s family and also to my family. Being that our families are friends, it was a no brainer to jump on the opportunity.
South Haven is so beautiful. It’s like a little piece of Heaven and it’s close to home. The entire session was so special. We walked around all of our favorite little places in South Haven and took photos along the way. We just happened to be at the right place at the right time when the captain of a sailboat asked if we would like to take photos on his boat. It was so generous of him to let use make that little pit stop. Over ice cream that evening, Julia, my son (also a senior) and I thought it would be a blast to rent the sailboat for an evening and do photos on the water. So, that we did! Our families boarded the Mary Jane with Captain Andy for a two hour sunset cruise along the lake. It was the perfect ‘studio’ for photos that evening. And also gave us some wonderful senior memories with our seniors.
Thanks a million to the Arnold family for having the Sprungers in tow for your trip. We loved it.
