Izzy & Nate – Our Daughter’s Wedding

Izzy & Nate – Our Daughter’s Wedding

How does a person blog their own daughter’s wedding? We’re about to find out together. Izzy and Nate started dating the Fall of her senior year in high school. Three years later they were married at the very church they grew up in together. My husband, son and I welcomed Nate into our family immediately and we couldn’t be happier for them.

Izzy and I had such a special time planning this wedding together. I loved her vision and truly enjoyed every step of the way in the planning process. It was FUN being on this side of a wedding! Seeing our precious daughter as the bride was the most joyful feeling. As with many father’s of the bride, Toby said that he was just told where to be and who to write the checks to and he stayed in his lane. 😉 He also gave a really great speech at the wedding, welcoming Nate into our family saying that it isn’t hard to give your daughter away when you get the first pick of the draft! That is accurate!

Choosing our vendors was easy! The first question everyone asked Izzy was “who is your photographer?” There was no other choice than Izzy’s cousin, my niece, Maggie Neal Photography. She and Izzy share a special cousin bond and we knew she would treat the day with such love, care and talent. I loved being hands off for the entire day and just watching with my eyes. It gave me a new found perspective of being a mother of the bride and just how beautiful it is to see your daughter marry the man God ordained for her. Thank you, Maggie for all that you put into this day! We love you.

Our entire vendor list is below. These are the cream of the crop vendors, the best in the business. I say this confidently because I have worked with them many times over the years and have seen first hand their talent, professionalism and the way they truly cater to their couples. Please show them some love by going to their pages! Izzy and Nate’s wedding couldn’t have been executed without them.

THANK YOU 100 times to each of these gifted vendors. We are so thankful for you and have heard such positive feedback from many of our guests on your talents.

Enjoy the photos from my daughter’s wedding. What a beautiful and special day!

Izzy’s cousins were the ringbearers. They rang bells as they came down the aisle. They grinned so big. Izzy and Nate chose to have flower grannies instead of flower girls! The grandmothers enjoyed their debut in this role.
